OOC Intro

HEY EVERYONE! It's time for Round 5, and we've got a post for everyone who wants to introduce themselves before the round begins! So, come on in, introduce yourself, and tell us who you're playing! We'll see you when Week 1 opens on Monday, July 15th!

HELLO
HELLO HELLO HELLO
HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HEEEEELLO
that is more than enough of that. I'm Letty! Y'all remember me from R3 (I played resident stabchild Nagisa Shoots), MW2 (good dog Ace), and R4 (last child standing Arthur Charles).
This time, I have Minato Arisato, protagonist of Persona 3. This sweet and gentle boy only wants the best for everyone*. He's a Messianic figure, although he hasn't done the Jesus thing yet. No, for now? He's at rock bottom. He is basically incapable of hatred, and has Issues with death, so hold onto your hearts because I'm comin' for 'em.
And he's probably coming for your characters' hearts. That just kind of happens, I don't plan for it and he doesn't notice it.
*Not including himself

Okay yeah she's pretty standard for the back half of the Arcana in his game, huh

Otherwise Fuuka is fairly pure, yes.

This time I'm bringing in King, given the title of The Forlorn, who's from a webcomic called Housepets! (Exclamation point included) To keep things simple, all animals can talk, and some even get to walk on two legs! Surprisingly little changes! King is one of those animals, a corgi that actually has a bit more rights thanks to some rich ferrets that helped him get married and have some pups!
He also may or may not have had to outsmart celestial beings in their godly version of Dungeon & Dragons and forced them into being mortals for a bit to keep himself in his canine form for the rest of his life. No big deal though.
He'll pretty much be hating the entire situation the whole time he's stuck on the train and will probably snark a little bit to relieve some of the stress that he's feeling. Maybe he'll actually feel something else on this train, but that's most of it honestly.
He will be in Room 7, and here's a permission post for him. Hope this round is entertaining for all of us!

I'm Ren, and I'm completely new to the murdergame scene. Kay lured me in with promises of candy and puppies. (To be fair, there is a dog in this round...)
This here is Proto Man, the too cool for school older brother of Mega Man. He acts like he's got it all together to hide the fact that he's an emotional disaster who needs to call home and stop worrying his family already.
He'll probably try to momfriend everyone while denying that they're actually friends. Sorry about that.

oh wait wrong Persona protagHe does draw the line at watching Minato sleep, though. He's not that much of an Aigis replacement.

> Regularly stays up past midnight and gets sick as a result
No, I think you've got the right one...
Oh hey, no one watching him sleep? This is very new.

Also, I'm bringing in McBurn from Trails of Cold Steel II, who will be in Room 2, with the title 'The Brittle'. He's a bit of a lazy bum ... but he's fairly used to being nagged at for it. He may or may not be liable to fall asleep during long talks if he's sitting down or even before then, so that's also super helpful.
Glad to have this guy on your team, right?
Oh, he does like fighting, so there's that.

No, really. I'm bringing Zack (Title: The Watchful) from Angels of Death as his MGRP self. Which means he had a wonderfully horrible time in what he calls "Magical Girl Hell" that somehow resulted in him finding actual family in two adoptive sisters and learning to use his destructive tendencies for things that don't involve murder. And that's a really good thing, considering he's still an impulsive serial killer with no reading skills.
He will hate this. So much. But at least one of his sisters is also here and he wants to make sure she has a better chance at living this time. He can probably give advice on surviving games like this but... He's not that smart. At all.
He's in room 3. Please check out his permissions page.

However his native language isn't Common, it's Zemnian, which is basically fantasy German, so he has a lot of verbal ticks relating to that. He's quite a nervous man, more so without his cat/familiar here. He's in room 9, which is appropriate since his group is the Mighty Nein, and his title is The Discord. He is nervous and suspicious of everyone here, do not try to make him Dad.
That's Fjord's job.no subject
Still she'll probably sympathize with him being separated from his cat friend despite her best efforts to remain angry at him.

I'm here with Mithos Yggdrasil from Tales of Symphonia! He's a kid who was forced to grow up too fast because he's a half-elf in a world that discriminates against his kind but he tries his very best to make the world a better place for him and his sister! That said though he's nice but has trust issues so he'll be a bit nervous oops.
His title is The Halved and he's gonna be residing in Room 11.

Eliza's been through the same murdergame as Zack, but she's also had two years in another CRAU game to slowly start learning to handle that trauma and come into her own. She's more competent than she was in MGRP, but she's hoping that this time no one's going to get hurt.
Her title is The Engineer and she's in Room 8

I've got some content warnings and an opt-out available here! Please give it a once over and let me know if anything's going to be a problem. Last thing I want to do is upset people.
I was Emma Millstein in R4, and for some ungodly reason that definitely did not involve a fireplace poker and Des' pancreas, I've been given a modhat in this round! If you ever want to reach me, whether it just be for plotting reasons or because you have a question or concern, feel free to message me either on Plurk at

Hey it's me, Nerdo, player in both Round 2 and Mock Week 2. I'm bringing back my character from the latter (with memories of that intact), Beatrice. Beatrice is an all-powerful Witch and gigantic nerd from the murder-mystery-horror-fantasy-postmodernist-time-travel-adventure sound novel Umineko: When They Cry.
It's a long story.
She'll be in Room 10 and has been given the title of The Rose, and you can find me on Discord at nerdorama#5798 and Plurk at
Great to be back!

Boy is Zack gonna hate dealing with Beato.

My name is Mika and y'all may remember me as I played Killua Zoldyck in R1, Karma Akabane in R2 and Atsuko "Akko" Kagari in R3! :D
This time i'm bringing in Atsushi Nakajima from the series Bungou Stray Dogs. He'll be in Room 6 with the title of The Rushlight.
He's a good kid who essentially (in canon) has the ability to turn into a full blown white tiger/can manifest different parts of his body to be that of the tiger. Arms, Legs, etc. His co-workers are all a little crazy and he's honestly seen a LOT of things in his time working for the Armed Detective Agency, yet still manages to be fairly kind and level-headed. Mostly.
Despite his VERY brutal past which essentially entails a LOT of physical abuse, Atsushi has a good sense of justice, a very kind heart and wants to do just whatever he can to help others. So this place is gonna be very, VERY rough on him but he will try his best. :D

Especially since I'm bringing in RGB, one of the two protagonists of the webcomic The Property of Hate. He's a television monster who pretends to have his shit together, but is in fact an absolute disaster with sticky fingers and heaps of anxiety. Naturally, being on a murdertrain will do absolutely nothing to help the anxiety part, even if this awful little man is used to absolutely everything trying to kill him on a daily basis.
He tries real hard not to get attached due to trust issues, but he's absolute garbage at it, so befriending him really shouldn't be hard at all, hahaha

Anyway, I played this girl's taller, more hotheaded foil, Jonathan Morris, in Round 3 and Mock Week 2, and found myself thinking repeatedly that I'd be able to do more during investigations if I'd just apped her. Didn't do that for Round 4 because it was a little too Gothic Horror from what we first heard... but here you go, a small witch who will be trying to logic her way off the crazy train for as long as she can.
For those of you who don't know me, I'm a bit erratic where tagging speed is concerned but try not to be a flake, I can get hyperspecific with content warnings because the things that make my brain stop working are stupidly specific themselves, and I'm really bad at introductions overall. Hi.
