15 Strangers Round AU Meme
Hello everyone! Not exactly that time again, but we’ve got a treat for you today! The Round AU Meme! Essentially, remember those times where you asked ‘What if I’d brought Person X to Round Y?’ Well, here’s where you can answer that question, with prompts for each round and Mock Weeks 2 and 3. We hope you’ll enjoy! ![]() 1. Ungodly Magics & Mysteries You know your day is going to be awful when you wake up on a stone slab instead of a bed. Worse still, it looks like nothing here is past medieval times, in terms of style and tech. Maybe a potion or a sweet roll will get your mind off of this murder business added to the mix. 2. Mall Murder Mania You’ve probably never been passed out in a mall, and even if you did, it’s very unlikely you’d been trapped inside afterwards, told by a young girl to kill to leave. Maybe the fifteen of you can figure out what’s going on in this seemingly abandoned mall. 3. A Fantastic Voyage The technology here is so…odd. The entire place just seems off, no matter when you’re from. Then there’s that loud, obnoxious woman telling everyone to kill each other. With how grating her voice is, maybe you should prepare for someone killing to get away from her. 4. Snakes In Plane Sight Is this a joke? On a plane, headed who knows where, with who knows how many snakes on board, and more dead bodies than you needed to see in your lifetime. And your pilot wants you to add to their number. You might need magic if you want everyone here to survive. 5. Soul-Sapping Situations This mansion is awful. Rooms like caskets, dust and spiders everywhere, the fact that you were brought unwillingly-and the rules about murder didn’t help things. The entire situation is a disaster, and you can only hope that you and the others don’t lose your minds. 6. Off The Rails A chance to explore the deepest recesses of space, the final frontier…and instead, you’re on a train with fourteen others being made to kill each other. No one among the locals cares when you ask for help. Such a hopeless situation, you may as well gaze at the beautiful sun above. 7. Home Sweet Homicide You and fourteen others in a house in space, trapped by an evil A.I. It wants you to kill each other, but when there’s so little room? Seems impossible, if you don’t want to get caught. Let’s hope no one proves that thought wrong… 8. The American Nightmare A town with no people, other than your fellow captives. This isn’t the first time that this has happened to you, and the same goes for everyone else. And yet, you hesitate to trust the others…probably reasonable. You all know how this goes, after all. |

[He told them-yelled at them, screamed at them that he did it. That he was the reason Vita and Jonathan were dead. It wasn’t them, it was him!
But...they didn’t believe him. Even shifting to look like Jata did nothing. They were convinced he’d just said all of it to protect him. That he didn’t want to see him die, and would rather not see his family again then let him die.
And now...the votes tally up, with only two votes for King. The tears are starting to form, and it becomes clear that the murderer is not dying here.]
I told you...I told you, and you didn’t listen-why didn’t you listen...

Because I misled them on purpose, King.
[He'd been evasive all trial. Of course he wouldn't have hurt either of the two, but if it keeps King alive...]
I knew you did it very quickly. But you have a family to get back to.

[He’s screaming that, and the silver tears are flowing heavily now.]
What-what am I supposed to say now?! To them-to everyone!? That I...that I killed my brother? Along with a married couple?
I...I can’t...

I can’t just...I can’t just say that about you...I can’t leave you...
[He’s sobbing. He hates this, God does he hate this...]

[He did this, he started this. Caleb shouldn't be paying for it-and he is anyway. It's not fair.]

The Nein needs you-everyone from the train needs you-I need you!
[He’s finally collapsing to his knees as he says that, openly sobbing. It’s ugly crying, but he doesn’t care. That’s not what’s important right now.]
Please...please don’t leave me...
no subject
[He sighs and kneels down next to the other.]
I think that you will be all right. People here need someone caring like you. You are stronger than you think you are.

I.. It's alright. I never really saw this coming but... hey. You have a family to get back to, King.
[ Something's tight in his chest that he can't explain, a flippant smile on his face. It's a clear cover of sorts as he hadn't expected everyone would lean towards him having done it, saying it had to do with his skills as someone learning assassination. ]
Better that it's me who has to die here anyway.

Don't say that...!

[ He holds his hands out to each side of him, a touch of exhaustion clear on his face. ]
I'm not the one with as much on the line.

[Clenching her hands on the podium.]

[ His breath caught in his throat. Karma couldn't say his name. Nagisa's. If he did, he'd break down. ]
My classmates. They're there too, but it's... really nothing compared to a loving family that's waiting for King.
[ A laugh. ]
This doesn't mean I don't intend to go down fighting, though. Not one bit.

[Her hands shake.]
This is all a mistake. You shouldn't have to go through this. I can't allow it.

[ He's putting on a front, despite being angry and otherwise hurt because everyone hadn't listened to him when he'd insisted he hadn't been the one to kill both Jonathan and Vita. ]
Mostly everyone's said their piece on why they think I did it, so clearly they want me to go through it. You're the only exception who won't allow this..
[ Pain edged his voice briefly. Only for him to push past it. He couldn't falter now. ]

[Her secret. Ha. It had been the first motive. Well. Secrets.]
I was taught never to leave a comrade behind if it were within my power to bring them back home.

I-I killed two people! Two people that did nothing wrong! And now-now I’m just supposed to accept a third dying because of me? A...a kid dying, all because of me...
It’s not...it shouldn’t...
[He’s sobbing now. This is awful. It shouldn’t be like this-why is it like this?!]

[ There's hesitation... and a little of his facade breaking down a bit. This is the first time it's ever happened to him successfully, after all. Maybe a small part of him is afraid, but he's going to do his best to hide it. ]
If you feel that bad about this, make it up to me by making it the hell out of here.
no subject
So I just...live with it? Live with this guilt until I die? And then I live with it wherever I go after that?
[He knows he’s not going to Heaven now.]

[ He sucked in a breath, trying to keep his cool the best he can. ]
You saw... when the others were here. They're still around, even dead so there's hope.
no subject
And I don’t care if it takes forever, or if it’s almost possible. I will bring you back! Bring everyone back! Even if it’s only a small chance, I’ll do whatever it takes to get everyone back!
[There’s determination in his voice as he says it. He doesn’t care if it takes a lifetime-if he can bring them back, he will.]
no subject
Good. That's what I want to hear.
[ A nod of his head, and it's clear this whole mess has upset him beyond what he's saying here. ]
I have faith in you, King.
no subject
A thought comes to him, before anything can go too far still. He quickly grabs something from his pocket-six vials, wrapped in a cloth. He offers them to Karma, as stone faced as he can try and be.]
And I have faith in you.
