15 Strangers Round AU Meme
Hello everyone! Not exactly that time again, but we’ve got a treat for you today! The Round AU Meme! Essentially, remember those times where you asked ‘What if I’d brought Person X to Round Y?’ Well, here’s where you can answer that question, with prompts for each round and Mock Weeks 2 and 3. We hope you’ll enjoy! ![]() 1. Ungodly Magics & Mysteries You know your day is going to be awful when you wake up on a stone slab instead of a bed. Worse still, it looks like nothing here is past medieval times, in terms of style and tech. Maybe a potion or a sweet roll will get your mind off of this murder business added to the mix. 2. Mall Murder Mania You’ve probably never been passed out in a mall, and even if you did, it’s very unlikely you’d been trapped inside afterwards, told by a young girl to kill to leave. Maybe the fifteen of you can figure out what’s going on in this seemingly abandoned mall. 3. A Fantastic Voyage The technology here is so…odd. The entire place just seems off, no matter when you’re from. Then there’s that loud, obnoxious woman telling everyone to kill each other. With how grating her voice is, maybe you should prepare for someone killing to get away from her. 4. Snakes In Plane Sight Is this a joke? On a plane, headed who knows where, with who knows how many snakes on board, and more dead bodies than you needed to see in your lifetime. And your pilot wants you to add to their number. You might need magic if you want everyone here to survive. 5. Soul-Sapping Situations This mansion is awful. Rooms like caskets, dust and spiders everywhere, the fact that you were brought unwillingly-and the rules about murder didn’t help things. The entire situation is a disaster, and you can only hope that you and the others don’t lose your minds. 6. Off The Rails A chance to explore the deepest recesses of space, the final frontier…and instead, you’re on a train with fourteen others being made to kill each other. No one among the locals cares when you ask for help. Such a hopeless situation, you may as well gaze at the beautiful sun above. 7. Home Sweet Homicide You and fourteen others in a house in space, trapped by an evil A.I. It wants you to kill each other, but when there’s so little room? Seems impossible, if you don’t want to get caught. Let’s hope no one proves that thought wrong… 8. The American Nightmare A town with no people, other than your fellow captives. This isn’t the first time that this has happened to you, and the same goes for everyone else. And yet, you hesitate to trust the others…probably reasonable. You all know how this goes, after all. |

How-how dare you? How dare all of you? I-I warned you what would happen if you voted for my brother! [She grabs one of the knives from the podium, eyes darting around at everyone else in the room before turning to the conductor.] So by the rules-I can now kill any of the bastards who voted for Zack without any consequence, right?
[Her eyes light on Caleb, her expression turning even more manic.] All those wounds were from knives, you know? Most of them thrown...

[He sees Eliza looking at Caleb like that. Like she's ready to throw a knife into his chest. He's not fully sure why, but he can't let this happen. What better way than getting her on a different target.]
I...I voted for Zack. I know what you said, but I didn't want him to have to see you die again. You shouldn't have to die for keeping our friends and family alive, especially ours.
[He's curious, what the age difference between the pups and Luce would be. He'd have to ask later...if he lives that long.]
So...if you're going to go after anyone...why not me, right?
[He's got his arms out, ready for Eliza to take a shot-er, throw a knife. He's afraid, and his expression says as much, but he's not letting things go like this. They need to keep things from going too badly, and this is very close to going horribly wrong.]

And you know why I didn't offer myself. I have a family too, and I'm not going to force them to live without me. I...I couldn't force them to lose me.
[It's selfish, and he knows it...but he can't change it. He didn't want to see a kid dying for their family, and he didn't want to die for something he didn't do. And it seems like most everyone else agreed.]

[With a heave, she pulls her knife free.] I-I'm going to take care of the person who should have been executed on the Vespertine, first. He deserves this most, after all.
no subject
But what about them? Were they ready to lose you? Were they ready to know that you died trying to protect them, make them safe?
[This feels...familiar. Like a coin he knows, but he's seeing it's other side this time. It's weird...but he doesn't have time to focus on that.]
No, you're not. You're not killing anyone else. And please, don't make me have to stop you.
[It probably doesn't sound like much, coming from him, but e's got an idea, and he honestly hates it, but if it's necessary...]

[She quietly comes up behind Eliza, to give her shoulder a squeeze.]
Is this really what you want to do?

Koel knows she is running out of choices here.]
Do you really want to spill otherwise innocent blood, my dear? Because, trust me. Overcompensating because you couldn't convince them enough of your guilt will not end well for you.
In any case, they are not the ultimate ones to blame.

Very well.
[She takes a step back.
How focused is Eliza on Caleb?]

But at best. At best.
She silently becomes a veil, and melds into Eliza's shadow. Thus, Eliza will not see what is coming. In all respects, this was Eliza's fault, for killing to begin with. Had she not committed the crime, her brother would not be condemned. It's a terrible thing to think, knowing what was at stake. But the parts of her that are the kindly grandma knows that what Eliza did was still not right-cruelty answering to cruelty was just going to encourage this Empress to continue threatening them with harm against family and friends.
Now, though, the parts of her that were not that kindly grandma knew what she had to do. She is never unprepared herself.
And Eliza's back is completely open.
What is Eliza doing now?]

Eliza being so gung ho about killing others, she might have forgotten one teeny tiny detail. Yes, she's out of the game, so she can kill whoever she wants without consequences.
But.
It is a two-way street. Just as no one is protected from Eliza, Eliza is also no longer protected by the rules that might have otherwise discouraged anyone before from killing others. She may murder, now-and she also may be murdered.
The moment Eliza moves towards either of them, Koel's own knife will be out from within the shadows around Eliza, and plunging viper-fast towards Eliza's spine.]
no subject
Ah-what the-ngh!
[She pushes herself up anyways, still holding her knife, and hurls it at Caleb with all her strength before finally slipping to the floor.]
Damn...damn it...
cw: for intended method of death
Flipping her knife, the shadowy hand then plunges downwards, towards Eliza's neck. Not simply to slit it, but to sever the blood vessels It will be quick, if not bloodless.]
CW: Slight Hand Gore
[Lucky for everyone (well, almost everyone), the knife does not find it’s intended target. Instead of going into Caleb, it’s now imbedded in King’s palm...thanks to his suddenly much longer arm.
Huh.
But while King is very much in pain, and he is bleeding from the new hole in his paw, his attention is now on the shadow with a knife.]
WAIT-!
no subject
There is a sense of the hell are you doing coming from it.]
no subject
We-we can’t do this. We could just...tie her up or something. Something that doesn’t end with a third person dead. We just...we can’t kill her. Please.
[He’s pleading. Don’t make another kid die for this, Koel.]

But considering who Eliza's target was, he seemed less than interested in stopping the knifing since old woman was stopping Eliza anyway, unnnntil said person threw the knife.
Oh, and then King got in the way. Okay then, he's back to figuratively popcorning this and giving a yawn.
The sooner this was over, the better. ]

[Holding up the paw that still has a knife through it. Look, the one thing he knows about this stuff is that you shouldn't remove the knife immediately, and he'd prefer not being an example of why.]

Re: R5C2 Results -> Scapegoat
[ He rushes from his podium and puts himself between Eliza and her target. ] Would you cut that shit out already!? I didn't try to throw em off just so you'd give em a reason to kill ya!
[ ... Yeah, that's right. Zack wasn't too good at planning, but as soon as he realized what happened he made himself sound guilty as hell. He was that willing to sacrifice himself so that she wouldn't die on him again.
Never expected her to flip out like this, though. ]
