[Boat creaking, blood in the air, sterile bunks, snoring below. Awareness that he has been kidnapped jolts him up the instant that Yoshikage Kira's eyes open to the cabin room. He's lived in Morioh his whole life and doesn't like to travel, and he had his sights set on remaining as he always had - even with the frequency they pull into his peaceful little coastal town, actually taking a ship is out of the question. After that spike of anxiety though, he takes a deep breath to calm down. Get a grip. He can even see a convenient flash card with an explanation. Centering himself as he reads about the legacy of the Gigantic, he manages to settle into a surface-level calm. The matter of the game is eyeroll-worthy, but there's some pretty interesting stuff in here...]
So, I've woken up in the future, is that it? [He mutters and moves on to contemplating his rather advanced watch in this light.]
exploring;
[Kira takes to moving about the ship in a rather methodical way and can be run into in most areas. At first he is of course looking for the source of the stench, but he'll run into complications that prove distracting. Any doors that are opened with the watch will be met with confusion at first - it just doesn't occur to him to use it that way. He is from the nineties and marvels openly at any huge technological advancements that he finds. Most notable of this though is that as soon as he finds the kitchen he gets a relieved look and then just strolls in like he owns the place. Finally, he felt behind his routine and a good meal is exactly what he needs to get him through the rest of this weirdly directionless trial. So for a few minutes he's just going to be making an egg scramble that is quick but smells very delicious. Out of habit, he will even make enough for two or three people. Perhaps he's a family man...]
power;
[It's later in the week. By now the inherent awareness of his new power "The Component" has kicked in, and as a proactive type of person of course he has gone out of his way to test it out at least once. He's at the incinerator with his spare t-shirt on, and after doing some warm-up stretches, he focuses on its activation... for that moment, an extra pair of arms grows out from his abdomen, and he leans back to do this pose with all four spreading out. But a few minutes the extra pair drops off, and he straightens anticlimactically, looking down at his arms on the ground.]
I have to say, this is leaving me rather cold.
[He's talking to himself, but it's just not the same when it's his own..... Now he's crouching down with an expression of mild disgust to pick them up and feed them into the incinerator. At least watching them turn to ash is somewhat cathartic. He's taken out a handkerchief to wipe with while he does so.]
death;
[Kira is the first to discover this body. It's in the bathroom and in classic fashion, someone has done an entire occult thing to it with candles everywhere and a salt circle. The edge. He closes the door again and then pinches the bridge of his nose for a moment of irate silence.]
