TEST DRIVE
There are 15 strangers in this place. Someone knows why. And its clear the odds are stacked against you.

1. ARRIVAL
You're here, in the Mall. Wherever the Mall might be, right? And what happened to your powers? Your memories? Who else has been so unlucky as to be brought in with you? Also, why are the rules littered with emojis!?

2. POWER
You have been, er, "blessed" with a power. Its not a power you want or care for, but its yours now. You might want to try an control it, lest you hurt someone else. That is...unless you want to. Just don't blow up any public property while you're at it!

3. HOME
So now you live in a mall! All right! Modern conveniences galore! And hey, there's a cat cafe and a bar! Maybe living here forever won't be so bad. Unless you're looking for a way out, but surely, you wouldn't do that, right?

4. MINIGAME
The Life Coach has decided to do 'games'. Those who win the games will get prizes, the Life Coach has promised. The Test Drive Meme's minigame: a costume contest! The best costume made in five hours wins! Work alone, or in teams - the Life Coach is ok with either~!

5. MOTIVE
The Life Coach has announced the motive for the week. Clearly someone really wants to give you a reason to kill someone. How will you react? Will you stand against such an insult and help others to fight the temptation? Or perhaps, you yourself are tempted...?

6. DEATH
One of your own has died - no, been killed. The Inquisition has started. The body lies before you, and now you must discern the truth from the clues before you. But can you when you mourn? Or, perhaps you don't mourn the dead. Perhaps you're only playing along because you know more than you let on.

7. TRIAL
Well, it looks like the Life Coach wasn't kidding when they said there would be a trial. So now you're here, looking to condemn the responsible killer. If you do, they die. If you don't, you die. Whatever happens, you have to figure out what happened. Can you?

8. WILDCARD
Anything not mentioned above. Go wild!

[ Since the moment he saw her acting the way she was upon their arrival, he's been curious. In fact, the word "S U S P I C I O U S" (in flashing neon lights, and everything) has been popping into his head every time he so much as glances her way.

And, so, when he finds the chance to approach her? He does. And that is the moment of his ultimate undoing. Because it's right as he's approaching her, he kind of... winds up finding himself getting blasted in the face by an eruption of flames and smoke and--... seriously, what the hell was she making???

Mountain of questions aside, he's taking a moment to just... cough? What else can he do right this very second? He can... still taste whatever was being mixed. At least it's not the worst thing he's ever... endured...

... Anyway, he's removing those glasses, releasing another cough, and then looking at her with only one eye (the other still burns, but it's... fine). ]

What were you- [ cough ] -trying to make?

[ SCREECH.]

Oh no! It shouldn't have exploded like that... oh, no... oh no! I'm so sorry! I'll go get some water to rinse out your eyes!

[ She shouts, reaching for her belt-- ]

[ --Only to realize her wand is... yeah. Right. It's gone, isn't it? ]

Oh... oh, no. I don't... I don't have my wand--oh! Oh I'll be right back pleasedon'tmoveIpromiseI'llbeback!

[ Annnnnd she's off to go get some water, nearly tripping over her own feet to do so. ]

[ He's pausing to rub at his eye, only to abruptly pause the movement.

Well, uh... that sure is a unique way to try... getting water...? He actually blinks in surprise, eyebrows lifting as his hand lowers a bit. What even are those words? And... she just said... wand...?

Um.

Well.

Okay, then.

Cool.

He opens his mouth to tell her isn't just fine, but apparently she holds a great deal of Determination in this adventure of gathering water. His lips draw together tightly as a small smile surfaces.

Guess... he'll just take a moment to wave some of the lingering smoke away as he leans to half-study (well, when you only have one eye, that's all it can be, right) the deadly experiment... potion??

Sure, let's go with that. That is now its name. ]

[ The Sad Potion™ (patent pending) is now a shamble of its former glory, but some of the ingredients can probably be made out through the smog. Some frog's eyes, a very obvious healthy amount of cilantro, water, and what appears to be crushed roses. There's other things, but they're too charred to make out.

When she returns, she's wobbling with a bucket of water. She... didn't need this much but oh well. And she just. ]

H-h-here! I'm so sorry...! I had no idea my potion would backfire. Oh, if only I had my wand...!
